Infosys Technologies reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,289 crore for the quarter ended June 2012, down 1.1 percent compared to Rs 2,316 crore a quarter ago. However, India's second-largest software services exporter posted a 33 percent increase in net profit YoY, driven by a surge in demand for outsourcing.
