INFOSYS RESULT UPDATES

Nifty rose 15.4 points to 5,292.2 in early trade on Friday. IT major Infosys met expectations for fourth quarter of FY12, but disappointed the street with its FY13 guidance. It posted net profit of Rs 2,316 crore, a fall of 2.4% QoQ, while the revenue growth for FY13 expected to be 8.10% versus expectations of 12-14%.

TIPS TO TRADE INFOSYS

The first key level to watch out for Infosys is Rs 2675. It is also close to the 200 DMA, but if it takes that out then it opens a downside of Rs 2,580 and Rs 2,480 which is the drastic drop.

Infosys News Updates 12 jan

Infosys posted a net profit of Rs 2,372 crore in the third quarter, a growth of 24.5% as compared to Rs 1906 crore in the previous quarter. Its revenues moved up 14.8% to Rs 9,298 crore from Rs 8,099 crore, quarter-on-quarter. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) jumped over 27% to Rs 2,899 from Rs 2,281 crore. EBIT margins improved at 31.17% as against 28.16% quarter-on-quarter.
