Indian stock market today traded miserably. The National Stock Exchange's Nifty ended below its psychological support level of 4,700 led by losses in shares in oil & gas, capital goods and realty sectors. The Nifty ended below the 4650 level in the last expiry series of the year 2011. The last one hour of trade was very bad for the market - as there was sharp slaughtering in capital goods, private banks stocks. Today was the last day of Nifty expiry and it just sinked the market badly.
