Indian shares are expected to trade higher ahead of the Reserve Bank of India's policy review meet due later today. The uptrend of the market will resume only once we cross the Nifty level of 5100 but that is too far to cross. For the time being, the downtrend will continue so go with the trend and trade accordingly. Nifty short term trend, an important support for the Nifty is 4700 and if this is violated then the fall will be sharp. A negative chart pattern is developing on the Nifty which is likely to stay range bound, between 4700 on the downside and 4850 on the upside.
