Indian share market on 7th oct gave an outstanding close leaving smile on traders and investors's faces. All sectoral indices closed positive with banking, metal and realty being the lead gainers in today's session. Telecom was the only sector that closed negative The Sensex closed at 16233, up 440 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 4888, up 137 points.
The top Nifty gainers were Sterlite Industries,Axis Bank, Jindal Steel and Tata Motors while the biggest losers included Bharti Airtel, Ambuja Cements, Tata Power and Ranbaxy.
